Job Description  Actively seeking a highly motivated Architecture Designer II to join our Los Angeles Architecture studio. The current and near-term projects that this position would support will be transformational to the communities in which they exist.Internally, this position will provide the opportunity to serve as an integral part of a planning and design practice that includes planners, landscape architects, architects, interior designers, engineers, and business development professionals. The responsibilities of this position include: Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations. Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables. Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups. Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required. Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets. May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project. May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel. Qualifications Minimum requirements Bachelor of Architecture degree plus 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Autodesk Revit Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Architecture 5 years of experience as an Architect or Architectural Designer on a variety of building types Ability to become a licensed architect in the future Experience with Adobe Suite , Autodesk Revit, Enscape, Rhino and SketchUp Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) Additional Information Sponsership is not availible for this position

Responsibilities: Conducting walk-throughs and visually assessing the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structure of the hotel, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and any other related equipment Informing the GM and hotel department heads on a regular basis regarding the specific and overall condition of the building structure, related systems, and equipment, and offering prudent, cost-effective proposals for maintaining these systems Ensuring all projects, including, but not limited to, routine maintenance, repairs, replacement, and renovation projects, are completed on time and according to specifications Maintaining effective Energy Management and Preventative Maintenance programs, and conducting special training for other operating departments on the safe and efficient use of equipment and energy in the hotel Working closely with other departments to ensure coordination of activities. Supervising Engineering associates, including assisting with hiring, training, evaluations, development, and disciplining Preparing and adjusting weekly work schedules in accordance with staff guidelines and labor forecasts Assisting with processing requests for personal time off, holidays for team members, schedule changes, overtime, purchase requests, and expenditures Reviewing guest comments and ensuring that problems are identified and corrected in a timely manner Responding to guest requests in a timely, professional, and friendly manner to help ensure that we are meeting or exceeding guest expectations Acting as the safety coordinator for the entire hotel, including ensuring that all emergency equipment and systems are inspected, tested, and certified per standards Maintaining a safe working environment throughout the hotel for all associates, enforcing safety guidelines, and building awareness about safety Ensuring compliance with OSHA and fire Safety Laws Assessing critical repairs and facilitating an immediate and cost-effective response Implementing and managing procedures and practices that ensure quality assurance for work performed by hotel maintenance teams Ensuring that there is an adequate inventory of parts, supplies, tools, and materials available through effective ordering Qualifications: The ideal Engineering Supervisor candidate will have previous hotel and supervisory experience. We are looking for a high-energy, motivated individual who will take ownership and who has the organizational skills to manage several tasks at once and lead a team Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Engineer in a hotel Possess a thorough knowledge of all types of mechanical equipment, such as chillers, boilers, water softeners, and refrigeration equipment Possesses extensive working knowledge of building systems to include but not limited to: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry Demonstrate excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities: Assist in the development and management of the project strategic plans and program initiatives to meet the goals and needs of the Owner. Act as Owner’s Advisor with primary responsibility for all phases of project. Manage overall planning, design, and construction process and orchestrate all activities related to design and construction. Guide Clients through the complexities of design and construction, with a focus on incorporation of ownership priorities into design, construction logistics and sequencing, as well as design management of the architecture and engineering teams. Coordinate with the Architect, Contractor, and other project team members to meet the project objectives and resolve issues. Lead all elements related to contracts; including negotiating, drafting and executing. Manage overall project budget and schedule. Report to project team and client on a regular basis. Lead proposal review, leveling and analysis and present to the Client. Lead selection process for all consultants and vendors, including preparation of RFQ/RFP, researching and comparing firms under consideration, and recommending and negotiating optimum business terms. This also includes team selection within firms. Qualifications: BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a closely related field is highly preferred. 8+ years' of experience in construction project management. Specific experience in the design, construction, or maintenance and operation of large infrastructure projects $500 million in budget or higher is required. Firm knowledge and understanding of construction methods, materials and sequences, and architectural/construction drawings and specifications. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as business presentation skills. The ability to effectively interface with all levels of management and staff across organizational lines, including other client business units. Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines.
