This major capital project includes the full demolition and rebuilding of the Terminal 5 headhouse and concourse, along with the enabling work needed to vacate the existing structure. The Office Engineer will work closely with the T5 Program Delivery Director and the project management team to help keep the project moving smoothly. Salary Range: $95K/Year-$105K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications Key Responsibilities Receive, track, distribute, and maintain submittals and RFIs using PMWeb. Handle contract correspondence, maintain document control, and assist with status reports. Keep both electronic and hard-copy files organized and up to date. Work with contractors to ensure drawings and documents are posted and shared on time. Gather and track review comments, secure approvals, and issue responses back to contractors. Prepare exhibits, PDFs, and presentation materials as needed. Attend project meetings; help prepare agendas and take meeting minutes. Assist with expediting tasks and maintain expediting logs. Support the project manager, assistant PM, construction manager, design manager, and others with additional tasks as needed. Minimum Requirements: 5+ years of experience, preferably on airport or other large, complex projects. Background in construction, engineering, or a similar technical environment. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related technical field is required. Understanding of how large projects move through both the design and construction life cycles. Experience with different project delivery methods (DBB, CMAR, Design/Build). Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with large multidisciplinary teams. Comfortable working in an active/operating environment where coordination is critical. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam. Experience with project management systems; PMWeb experience is a plus. The work includes enhancements to curbside areas, garage facades, and landscape zones, all aimed at improving the look, feel, and overall passenger experience at LAX.
