Position type: Full-time, Contract Duration: 12 months Location: San Antonio, TX (Onsite) As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will: Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies. Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines. Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build. Leads and implements manufacturing plans. Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements. Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions. Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule. Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts. Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems. Implements lean principles and technologies. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ability to support 1st and 2nd shift including weekends on a rotating basis • Enhancing and developing non-recurring build plans to support aircrafts during storage/re-activation/pre-flight activity • Review and support any open baseline SOW that needs completed • Review jobs and assist with the build by identifying the proper tools, processes, and sequences. • Shipside support to identify process improvements and answer build questions • Coordination with Engineering functions on new and open nonconformances • Coordination with aircraft Engineering Teams. • Support airplane induction activities to/from San Antonio REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: • Must have a Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an ABET accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry and applicable experience in a professional exempt engineering classification, or equivalent education and experience. • Experience in manufacturing engineering in Aerospace Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
