What You'll DoIn this role, you will:

• Oversee Outside Plant (OSP) construction activities performed by contractors.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with design specifications and budgets.
• Coordinate with local municipalities, utilities, and internal departments.
• Conduct pre- and post-project inspections and attend pre-construction meetings.
• Manage project schedules, materials, and expenditures.
• Maintain accurate records including as-builts, invoices, and timesheets.
• Investigate and report plant damage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Logistics, and Project Management.

What You BringRequired Qualifications:

• 5+ years of combined OSP construction and splicing experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSP construction standards, unit descriptions, and SSP contracts.
• Familiarity with permitting, Work Zone Protection (WZP), and Traffic Control Plans (TCP).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift moderately heavy objects.
• Willingness to work overtime, be on-call, and travel as needed.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with state and local permitting agencies.
• Background in fiber-optic network deployment.
• Familiarity with the JIM process and construction management tools.
