Job Description

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for semiconductor equipment, ensuring high efficiency and quality. Utilize advanced process simulation software (e.g., Matlab, JMP) to model and optimize process parameters. Implement lean manufacturing principles methodologies to identify and eliminate inefficiencies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements and new methodologies. Use project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel) to coordinate tasks and timelines. Apply Design of Experiments (DOE) techniques to systematically test and refine process changes. Conduct feasibility studies and analyze data to support process development and troubleshooting. Employ data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, JMP) to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights. Perform root cause analysis using tools like Fishbone diagrams and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Interact with customers to resolve complex process engineering issues and provide technical support. Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software (e.g., such as SAP, Salesforce) to track and manage customer interactions. Conduct on-site visits and virtual meetings to diagnose and address customer concerns. Utilize statistical process control (SPC) methodologies to monitor and control process parameters. Implement SPC software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Matlab, Excel) to monitor real-time process data and maintain control charts. Conduct regular process capability studies to ensure processes meet specifications. Train and mentor junior engineers on measurement techniques and data interpretation. Develop training materials and conduct workshops on the use of measurement tools (e.g., SEM, AFM, XRD) and statistical analysis methods. Provide hands-on guidance and support to junior engineers during their initial projects. Work with vendors and suppliers to select materials and equipment that meet process requirements. Evaluate supplier proposals using criteria such as cost, quality, and delivery time. Conduct supplier audits and collaborate on the development of new materials and equipment. Requirements: Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Microelectronics engineering, Chemical engineering, Chemistry, Electrical engineering, Physics, Material Engineering or related field, and 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupations. In the alternative, the employer will also accept Bachelor' degree or foreign equivalent in Microelectronics engineering, Chemical engineering, Chemistry, Electrical engineering, Physics, Material Engineering or related field, and 7 years of experience in job offered or related occupations. Demonstrate knowledge and/or experience in each of the following: 1. Reactive Ion Etching (RIE) systems or Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) etchers; 2. Plasma Etching Machines for semiconductor manufacturing; 3. Statistical Process Control (SPC) Tools like control charts, Pareto charts, and process capability analysis; and 4. Data Analysis Software and Process Optimization tools like MATLAB, Python, JMP, or Minitab.
