Direct Hire opportunity for Service Specialist for Building Management System's (BMS) located in Irving, TX As a Service Specialist for Building Management System's (BMS), you will: Perform preventative maintenance as part of service agreements. Conduct periodic inspections, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers. Perform day-to-day system modifications and repairs to customers' Building Automation Systems. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers, prime contractors, subcontractors, and trade personnel. Stay current on products related to installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair. Provide technical support and basic training to customers and peers. Adhere strictly to company safety standards-for both employees and subcontractors. Perform service, start-ups, repairs, and troubleshoot building environmental control systems. This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity. You will need the following to succeed in this role: 5+ years of experience working with HVAC and/or building automation systems. Exceptional customer focus; able to remain composed and proactive under pressure. Able to interpret blueprints, project plans, and other technical documentation. Strong technical proficiency with building automation systems and advanced computer skills. Excellent knowledge of operation, installation, and servicing peripheral devices. Capable of working with minimal supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Willingness and ability to travel to customer job sites as required. Available for occasional after hours and weekend shifts. Preferred Qualifications: Programming familiarity with Niagara, GCL+, or PLC platforms-enhances ability to customize, troubleshoot, and optimize control systems more effectively. Experience with energy monitoring and telemetry systems-helps data-driven service models. Understanding of sustainability analytics, such as PUE/WUE reporting or resource consumption optimization. Previous involvement in distributed energy resource management or similar integrations Pay rate: $32 - $38/hr.
