Job Description

About the Maintenance Technician position We are looking for an experienced technician who will perform preventative maintenance, shutdown maintenance and repair duties for the Facilities Technology Team to ensure the assigned unit remains in operating form. Technician responsibilities are: Perform mechanical/electrical maintenance duties safely, professionally, and to standard while following all company and regulatory safe work and housekeeping practices Participate in and support Hankook's continuous improvement programs to include 5S Develop and maintain a partnership approach to operations, quality, and EHS Maintain knowledge of the machines and remain up-to-date on predictive and preventive maintenance guidelines Diagnose problems with existing equipment/machinery Install, troubleshoot, and maintain all manners of electrical components Use of computer systems to perform diagnostics on electrical components and PLC system Perform work from blueprints, sketches, or specifications Inspect, clean, replace, and repair machines, motors, and other electrical components Maintain wiring systems; bend conduit and replace old wiring Replace guards, covers, and close control cabinets after work is completed Perform welding and fabrication as required Perform any additional duties as assigned by management. Technician requirements are: Education: (Required) High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: (Required) At least 3 years of previous maintenance experience in an industrial environment (Required) Knowledge of various machine operations and production roles (Required) Proficient with reading mechanical/electrical print Electrical Substation Technicians: Job Details: Shift: 12 hours shifts on a 2/2/3 schedule (5:45am-6:00pm or 5:45pm-6:00am). MUST be available to work any shift. 4 years high voltage Controlling Operations of Equipment/Systems. High School Diploma/G.E.D Experience in daily operations of SCADA systems, infrared testing, monitoring/cleaning/inspection/maintenance on equipment, read 1 & 3 line blueprints, arc flash hazards, and basic computer skills. Heights greater than 10 ft.
