About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Solutions Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology, working closely with clients to design, present, and implement tailored solutions. You will play a critical role in the pre-sales and post-sales process, ensuring customers achieve maximum value from our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and design solutions that address business challenges.
Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical workshops for prospective and existing clients.
Translate technical features into business benefits that resonate with stakeholders.
Develop proof-of-concepts (POCs), prototypes, and architecture diagrams to showcase solutions.
Act as a trusted advisor by providing technical expertise throughout the sales cycle and post-sales support.
Partner with product and engineering teams to provide customer feedback and contribute to product roadmap improvements.
Assist in RFPs/RFIs by preparing detailed technical responses.
Ensure smooth handover to implementation teams, providing guidance on deployment best practices.
Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field (Masters preferred).
Proven experience (3 7 years) as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar role in B2B SaaS, IT services, or enterprise software.
Strong technical background in areas such as cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, networking, databases, and software architecture.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for non-technical audiences.
Experience with pre-sales activities, customer engagement, and solution design.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical and consultative skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Expert, etc.).
Experience in enterprise SaaS, cybersecurity, AI/ML, or automation solutions.
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
