Review the accuracy of calculations, estimates, plans, and completed reports. Modifying and reviewing the civil and structural drawings for a variety of projects Select appropriate construction materials based on strength, durability, cost, and environmental impact, ensuring sustainability in the selection process. Ensure all designs meet local, state, and federal regulations, as well as building codes. Prepare and review reports and documentation to guarantee compliance. Manage construction projects from design to completion, coordinating efforts with architects, contractors, and other key stakeholders. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to the design specifications, addressing any discrepancies or issues as they arise. Identify and resolve design or construction-related problems, including performing failure analysis and implementing corrective actions for existing structures. Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and construction professionals, while providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff.
