Job Duties: Lead a team of talented, passionate engineers to build the future of digital contracting. You will be responsible for both defining and achieving the success of your team. Manage and grow your engineering team - this involves deeply understanding the teams dynamics, micro culture and roadmap needs. Foster a culture of technical excellence - this involves having input and a pulse on the technical tradeoffs the team is making on a day to day basis and helping the team deliver high quality products that work at scale against tight timelines. Develop and deliver on an impactful roadmap - this involves partnering with the product manager and designers, setting the vision for the team and ensuring every team member is bought in and is on the same page with respect to the why. Foster a culture of innovation and creativity. Fix whats broken - Leaders at Ironclad speak up about things that are broken and contribute to organizational solutions and process changes. Represent Ironclad to our prospects and customers that run the gamut from modern, category-defining companies to the Fortune 500. In partnership with design and product managers, build the world-class product development infrastructure and team that advances our vision to build the product that legal teams love. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to spec, design, and build features and systems and provide thoughtful feedback. Work with quality engineers to define, build and maintain testing strategy. Help interview and recruit talented engineers to Ironclad. Part-time telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from Ironclad offices in San Francisco, CA. Minimum Requirements: Masters degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field. Special Skill Requirements: (1) AWS; (2) Software Development; (3) Jenkins; (4) React; (5) Jest; (6) Cypress; (7) TypeScript; (8) JavaScript; (9) Mocha; (10) Git; (11) Kibana; and (12) Lighthouse.
