Role: DSP Communications Engineer - LEADERSHIP
Join a team of exceptional electrical engineers, mathematicians, and computer scientists collectively responsible for creating custom digital signal processing solutions and communications systems in support of national security defense. Lead and mentor small project teams that conceive, analyze, design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software-based solutions for modern communications systems in a multi-disciplinary R&D environment. This leadership role includes algorithm development, hardware control, system optimization, and deployment strategies with direct interaction with end users and customers. Work with cutting-edge technologies including CUDA, ICE Cards, and Mod/Demod systems while demonstrating dedication, discipline, integrity, and team play leading to products that are well-structured, documented, and carefully tested. Exceptional compensation package with salary range of $160,000 to $220,000 plus top benefits for self-starters with active TS/SCI clearance.
Requirements:
MUST BE U.S. CITIZEN with ACTIVE and CURRENT Top Secret SSBI/SCI clearance REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, or other equivalent field of discipline (Master's or PhD preferred)
Demonstrated capability in scientific programming with C, C++, or similar high-level language on UNIX/Linux
Strong background in DSP or communications theory
Experience with CUDA required
Experience with ICE Cards required
Experience with Mod/Demod (Modulation/Demodulation) required
5+ years of experience in practical system development, deployment, and leading others preferred
X-Midas or MATLAB experience preferred
Stable employment history (no job hoppers)
Experience with satellite communications preferred
Cellular communications systems knowledge preferred
Modern modulation schemes expertise preferred
Interference canceling experience preferred
Equalization, cyclostationary techniques, signal conditioning, and resampling knowledge preferred
