Shift work/weekend work shall apply. This position will be located out of the Metro Roseville office. The person will start working the day shift until he/she is trained in. Once trained in, the position will start the 24/7 operation shift work/weekend work/rotating. We work a six-week rotation with four weeks of days followed by two weeks of nights. Why MnDOT? Minimum Qualifications: FCC Radio Telephone License or be an APCO/NABER certified technician is required or obtained within six (6) months of the hire date. AND Valid Class D drivers license. Two or more years of recent advanced technical working experience (within the last four years) supporting a regional or large-scale radio communications system with responsibility for installation, repair, and implementation of a variety of radio communications equipment. Knowledge of radio communication procedures and ability to operate communication equipment and peripheral equipment. (i.e., telephone, two-way radio, and computer).
