Account Manager - Healthcare Construction Projects
Location: Teutopolis, IL Travel: Up to 25%
Are you ready to lead some of the most complex and rewarding healthcare construction projects in the industry? At Stevens Industries, we're looking for a strategic Account Manager to serve as the commercial and relationship lead for our largest healthcare clients. This is your chance to combine business acumen, industry expertise, and relationship-building skills to make a lasting impact.
What You'll Do
- Act as the point of contact for architects, general contractors, and owners.
- Drive preconstruction efforts-scope, pricing, and contract negotiations.
- Oversee with Project Managers to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and budget.
- Manage financial performance, including margin tracking and change order management.
- Build long-term relationships with key healthcare accounts and position Stevens as a preferred partner.
- Mentor and guide team members while contributing to best practices.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree (Business, Construction Management, Architecture preferred).
- 10+ years in account management or project development within construction or millwork.
- Proven success managing large-scale healthcare or institutional projects.
- Strong negotiation and client relationship skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and navigate complex environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP and Procore experience a plus.
