Job Description:
- Candidates must possess a bachelor s degree in engineering from a college or university in accordance with ABET/EAC standards and registration in good standing as a professional engineer with civil designation at the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
- Minimum of 5 years of transportation engineering design experience.
- Professional engineering license in Oklahoma or able to obtain an Oklahoma license.
- Manage work assignments for Junior Engineers, CAD technicians and other support staff.
- Proficient understanding of CIV3D/AutoCad.
- Working knowledge of the AASHTO Green Book, Roadside Design Guide, the Highway Capacity Manual, ODOT design standard & Brown book and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices is desired.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
- Must be able to work independently and within teams.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, changing environment.
- Committed to lifetime learning to maintain skills within the changing technology environment.
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
