Senior Electrical Engineer Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate possesses an in-depth knowledge of power system design and a solid foundation in electrical engineering principles. This role involves close collaboration to produce high-quality construction documents, conduct technical reviews, and provide leadership in design implementation and construction oversight. Key Responsibilities Provide technical design services for complex commercial, industrial, municipal, and infrastructure projects. Collaborate as part of a fast-paced team to create and review construction documents. Ensure rigorous Electrical Code implementation and compliance throughout all project phases. Perform QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) and provide construction oversight under the direction of the VP of the Electrical Division. Mentor and guide younger staff within the Electrical Division. Required Qualifications Experience: 7-10 years of progressive experience in commercial, industrial, municipal, and infrastructure projects. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent. Certifications (Preferred): Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license. Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Electrical Engineering design, QA/QC, and construction oversight. Comprehensive understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), building codes, and general construction practices. Software Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD, and Revit. Proficiency with power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, SKM). Experience with construction documents drafting practices. Travel & Logistics: NYS Driver's License or equivalent from a nearby state. Ability to travel up to 30% throughout the New York Metro Area. Eligibility: US Citizenship or legal resident status. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Civil 3D software.
