Responsibilities: Support development Engineers on various projects by ensuring adherence to process, regularly meeting with each development team, following up to track/close open items, maintaining specifications and preparing weekly status reports for management. Facilitate project development meetings, record action items and follow-up to ensure completion. Track projects against development checklist including cross functional support. Prepare weekly status reports identifying progress against key milestones and risks. Manage new product beta programs including customer outreach. Track/support compliance certifications for FCC, ETL, UL, CSFM, NYC. Assist with pre-ordering new components for new products. Create new product and critical product notifications. Maintain product specifications. Maintain product documentation library. Coordinate factory builds of Engineering prototypes. Requirements: BSEE or BSET or equivalent experience. Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering background. Competence with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint - strong computer skills. Extremely detailed oriented coupled with phenomenal follow-up skills. Ability to distill and document action items from meeting discussions. Strong work ethic - self-starter. Ability to creatively solve problems and remove roadblocks. Ability to work with a team to create and maintain a product specification. Budgeting and cost tracking skills. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
