Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician Tech II with a focus on building and wiring controls for newly constructed machinery. This role involves working with various components such as main control panels, junction boxes, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, PLCs, HMIs, motor controls, control networks, and other industrial control systems. Responsibilities include initial power-up, troubleshooting, setting parameters, and network integration. Key Responsibilities: Expertly read and interpret electrical prints, control schematics, and documentation to construct equipment according to specifications. Wire and troubleshoot motors, control panels, PLCs, and related components. Implement and troubleshoot low voltage and signaling circuits. Mount, wire, and assemble sub-panels and other components based on engineering designs. Install raceways and conduits, ensuring compliance with NEC code. Test, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical circuits and perform root cause analysis to resolve operating issues. Provide technical support internally and externally, including travel for installation and maintenance at customer sites. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of equipment. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical systems. Proficient in Electrical Safe Work Practices, AC/DC Electrical Theory, and NEC codes. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments. High school diploma or GED required. Valid drivers license. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Capability to work overtime as needed, including weekends. Experience with VFDs installation and basic troubleshooting. Physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Additional Information: Must supply personal tools; specialty tools will be provided. Training available for forklift and overhead crane operations. Commitment to safety practices and procedures is essential.
