Job Description


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Airwatch Engineer to join our team. This role requires a dynamic individual who will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of our Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform, ensuring seamless operations across iOS, Android, and Windows devices.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Administer and maintain the AirWatch MDM platform, focusing on device enrollment, policy configuration, application deployment, and compliance monitoring.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for mobile device issues across multiple platforms, including iOS, Android, and Windows.
  • Manage vendor support portals for cellular devices with providers such as Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to align mobile device policies with organizational standards.
  • Monitor system performance, generate analytical reports, and implement necessary improvements to enhance user experience and security.
  • Lead the assessment, planning, and phased migration from AirWatch to Microsoft Intune, including stakeholder engagement and pilot testing.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in endpoint management and mobile security.
  • Exhibit excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications:



  • 3 years of hands-on experience with VMware Workspace ONE / AirWatch administration.
  • 2 years of experience with mobile OS platforms and enterprise mobility architecture.
  • 2 years of experience managing cellular activations through vendor portals such as Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile.
  • 1 year of experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.

Desired Skills:



  • Experience with Intune deployment or migration projects.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MD-102, SC-300, or AZ-104).
  • Understanding of Zero Trust principles and conditional access policies.
  • Experience integrating MDM with identity and access management solutions.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting or other automation tools.
