Job Description
This is a fixed-location position based in the Framingham, MA office; however, telecommuting from a home office may be allowed. 40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm Five (5) years of experience as a System Engineer supporting AIX Unix. Experience must include: 5 years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently): Operating and managing AIX NIM services Experience in developing server automation solutions, including automated builds, server maintenance and run-book automation Supporting AIX 6.x/7.x and VIOS 3.x/4.x Storage management solutions such as HP or EMC 3 years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently): Advanced scripting and programming experience (shell, awk, Perl, or Python). Supporting multiple hardware platforms, IBM Power, HP and CISCO Experience in Networking technologies, including Infoblox, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls and Load Balancers. Veritas InfoScale (formally VCS) Network monitoring and tools 2 years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently): Databases (Oracle, DB2 or SQL server).
