Overview Experienced Downstream Corrosion Engineer to work within the Materials Consulting Services Department (MCSD). Candidate must have strong technical capabilities and extensive experience with corrosion and materials performance in Gas Processing, Refining, and/or Petrochemical industry. Candidates must have good communication skills and be comfortable working both independently and with cross-departmental teams. The Heat Exchanger Engineer's primary role is to provide operation and project support, technical consultations and maintains standards on issues related to different types of heat exchangers. An advanced degree in relevant field from a reputable institution is highly preferred. 20 years of experience in electrical engineering, scope development, design, economic evaluation, commissioning & start-up for major international Energy Companies or Consulting/EPC firms specialized in power generation, T & D systems, oil and gas and petrochemical fields . This includes of at least 3 years in business case evaluation and assessment for various power systems, leadership of major engineering studies and design packages. Participated in projects involving design and commissioning of HV equipment, GIS substations, power transformer systems, generation systems, renewable power systems, plant & utility electrical distribution systems and critical AC/DC systems . Experienced in using power system analysis software ETAP , Thermoflow (or equivalent) thermal engineering software for Cogeneration plants . Experienced in engineering practices, economic principles and sustainability . Knowledge of IEC or U.S. Codes, Standards and Specifications . PE / Professional Certification is an advantage.
